DuctSox Names MJ Air Products 2009 Manufacturer Representative of the Year
DuctSox., a leading manufacturer
of fabric duct air dispersion products, named MJ Air Products
Inc., Dallas, Texas, as DuctSox Manufacturers Representative of
the Year--2009 Jan. 25, at the International Air-Conditioning,
Heating and Refrigeration Exposition (2010 AHR Expo.), in Orlando,
Fla. The eight-year-old manufacturer s representative firm landed
several large diverse projects in its territory of North and East
Texas that utilized the full breadth of the Dubuque, Iowa-based
Duct- Sox line.
MJ Air Products demonstrated a
commitment to the product and a consistency of orders every month,
said James Partain, Southeast regional sales manager, DuctSox,
Dubuque, Iowa. DuctSox s new LabSox line was specified by
consulting- engineer firm, Purdy- McGuire, Dallas, with design
help from MJ Air Products for the value-engineered labs of
Dallas-based utility company Lineage Power Corp., and its new
critical experiment laboratory complex.
Other MJ Air Products projects
included DuctSox s Sedona-Xm, which employs an anti-microbial
treatment, for 120,000-square-feet of food processing areas at The
Dannon Company, which will help the company maintain a high
sanitation standard in yogurt production through periodic
commercial launderings of the easily-unassembled ductwork.

MJ Air also sold
Sedona-Xm High Throw, which saved the city of Irving, Texas,
20-percent in HVAC ductwork installation costs at the new$133
million, 250,000-square-foot Irving Convention Center at Los
Colinas designed by renowned architect Barbara A. Hillier, AIA,
principal, RMJM Hillier.
